the industry. It has been the launch pad for the careers of many talents.
The model selection process has evolved since. With so many new amazingly beautiful
talents appearing every day, we have to narrow down to which of them has the most
popularity, the biggest buzz, and the most media exposure. Our Quest begins.

Similar to Miss Popularity, Prom Queen, Miss Congeniality, Miss USA, and America’s
Next Top Model, models now have the opportunity to lobby for the top position in a
BLACKMEN MAGAZINE SPREAD.
I know you have heard it before, “girl you should model”, or “you should be in Black
Men”. Now is their chance to put their money where their mouth is and vote for you to be
in Black Men Magazine.
THE MODELQWEST TEST
Our profession test photographers will shoot a selected number of models to see who can
deliver the hottest images in the shortest amount of time. (When a model doesn’t perform
the shoots usually takes longer but for this test your time will be limited so practice in the
mirror at home). If chosen you will be given a select time, date and location to shoot. You
must bring 3 different looks, bikini or lingerie in two-piece style or slingshot. (Do not
bring a skirt, coverup or one piece). We will use traditional photography so it will be
natural. Whatever your look is, be yourself. You should be comfortable and confident in
front of the camera. Don’t try to be someone that you are not. “This shoot is all about
you”. Make up and hair stylist will be provided. Come hair ready (we will not be
enhancing), bikini waxed and a clean face.
You will fill out a manditory questionaire before you begin shooting.

We will periodically print ten finalists in th MODELQWEST section of the magazine to be voted by the readers for your layout The winner will receive a 6 or 8 page spread with a feature story. And you are on you way to pursuing that Dream Cover Status.
