Relationship blogger Life Skills has alot to say about single women in
relationships. I was sent this video this morning and my first reaction
was “who is this guy????” but he has a few great points. Here is the
gist of what he says for those who can’t view the video:
“The real problem with women in relationships is that they are doing
marital acts with their man and they are not married. Examples of
Marital Acts:
*Keys to the apartment
*Laying up under each other for hours at a time
*Putting things in each other’s name and you are not married (Cars,
Cell phones, etc)
*Sex without a condom
*You call him your hubby or wife. (Bad words for a relationship is MY
Wifey, MY Boo, MY anything. If you are not married to it, it’s not
yours…)
*You are playing house. (i.e. Cleaning up their house, cooking etc…)
*Moving in or shacking up. (Why would you move in with someone without
getting married? Don’t assume that just because you will move in with
this dude, he’ll eventually marry you. )
*When you do these type of marital acts, you are giving a person the
opportunity to use you up. They are getting the most out of you already
so “why would they marry you?”.
I normally don’t agree with guys on their relationship views but…
He’s on to something…

Motorola has just made its £1400 Aura even more expensive with the
launch of the Diamond Edition, that takes the high-end handset and adds
18 carat gold and 34 diamonds.
Plated in the gold, the handset gets 30 round-cut diamonds embedded
in “sparkling arcs” above and below the circular display.
The “cafe brown” keypad meanwhile gets a solid 18 carat gold navigation
key which features those additional four diamonds in a compass
configuration.
If this particular combo of gilt and gems doesn’t work for you, then
Amosu is offering a similar take on blinging the handset up.
The Motorola Aura Diamond Edition will be available on sale from 26
October for a whopping £3500.

We have posted a new poster for the movie Takers, opening in theaters
on February 19, 2010.
The film, directed by John Luessenhop, revolves around a notorious
group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden
Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling
off perfectly executed bank robberies.
They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and
laying low in between heists. But when they attempt to pull off one
last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find
their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is
hell-bent on solving the case.
Takers is directed by John Luessenhop, of only the prison drama
Lockdown previously.

Brazilian top model Isabeli Fontana graces the ‘extrême’ tribal
graffiti-inspired cover of French Vogue’s November 2009 issue,
photographed by David Sims. The aesthetic was brought into the main
editorial called Keith Me styled by the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief
Carine Roitfeld. The editorial was inspired by the characters of
graffiti artist Keith Haring and echoes ethnic accents and raw notes of
exotic tribal body painting.
Here’s the Louis Vuitton shot. I love what Carine did to the Monogram
Towel, and Isabeli looked like a fierce but chic glamazon.
Speaking of Isabeli Fontana, look out for her in November/December
fashion magazines as she is the face of Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2010 ad
campaign that was shot at the Hamptons by Patrick Demarchelier. I can’t
wait to see it.
